Save time in your busy schedule by creating a themed series of social media posts. Series posts are a unique way to encourage interactions with your social media audience.
I’ll give you some tips on how to create the series posts and I’ll also provide some content ideas.
First, create a theme for your post series. By narrowing your focus, ideas for post content will be easier to generate.
There are no rules for how long to run your series or how many posts to include. Consequently, make sure your content is engaging, educational, and/or inspirational.
Second, determine the timing of your themed series. Carry the theme through a particular day of the week, a few days in a row, monthly, etc. The idea is to be consistent with your posting.
Third, create a themed hashtag to use in each post. Hashtags can be searched on most social media networks and will allow for more reach with your posts.
Next, announce your planned theme series before starting the posts. Create anticipation with your audience by announcing your series a few days in advance.
As a result, they will be expecting your posts and are more likely to pause to read the post when they see it in their news feed.
For example, below are a couple of photos from a Themed Post Series I created for my vacation rental business.
Branding all of your social media posts helps your audience to recognize your images immediately in their social media feed.
What does Branding mean? Branding is having a consistent and distinct design in all your marketing materials. Using consistent colors and fonts, that correspond to the type and style of your vacation rental, generates a distinct feel for your business.
Branding makes your business unique and easily recognizable in print and media.
Most importantly, always use your logo in all of your marketing materials – both online and printed.
Apps, such as PicCollage and Canva, make it easy to create branded photos. Create a themed template to make it even easier to complete your themed series. Save the images to your smartphone to easily upload to your social media accounts.
You’ll learn unique marketing strategies for social media that will generate more revenue for your business.
