What are Facebook Notes? Well, I’m glad you ask! Facebook Notes is an available feature in the Tab area of your business page. The “notes” are fairly basic text boxes (with a couple editing tools) where the page admin can type and then share that piece of text on the page’s Facebook wall. The “note” then gets published in the news feed.
The Facebook notes feature has been around for several years. Notes started out on personal profiles, as a way for Facebook users to type a note and share it with a Facebook friend. Then, in 2015 the notes feature was updated for business pages.
Probably because most business pages aren’t using them. Truthfully, I had forgotten about the feature. I was doing some additional research for the Social Media Bootcamp Course – Facebook & Instagram for Vacation Rental Owners, when I ran across the option in my page tabs. SCORE!
Notes are a unique way of providing some additional information to your audience. Think of the notes area as an extension of your website. Consider all the additional information you can include on your Facebook page about your property and your destination.
But wait! There are additional benefits to using the Facebook notes.
